The official theme of this year's World Book Day was, “Read your Way”, celebrating the reading that children choose to do in their free time without judgement. In school there were a variety of activities celebrating reading. The children came either dressed up as book characters or in their comfiest reading clothes.  They also brought in a favourite or enjoyable book to share with their class.  Each child received their free Book Day token to exchange for one of the 15 books available at local stockists.  We all celebrated together in a Book Day assembly. All the staff joined in and were dressed up as Mr Men or Little Miss characters. Thank you to all the children, staff and parents for their support in making the day a success.
