Dear Parents/Carers,

To enhance our topic on Fairgrounds, we are taking our Y5 children to Paultons Park on Tuesday 14th May 2024. They will participate in a curriculum based workshop where children learn about ICT programming and the importance of ICT in the running and development of fairground rides. In addition, they will gain an insight in to how forces affect rides and will have time to experience this in action, making links between the forces and the different materials used to create such rides.

We will be travelling by Morton’s Coaches leaving school at 9.00am. prompt, so please may we request that your child is in school for 8.35am on the day. We will return by the end of the school day. As this is a formal school outing, children should wear school uniform. Everyone will need to bring a packed lunch, in a disposable bag. No glass bottles or fizzy drinks, please. If your child is entitled to free school meals you MUST indicate on the form if they will require a lunch packed from the kitchen.

The cost of the visit will be £27.50 per child to cover the cost of the coach, entrance fee and educational sessions led by Paultons Park staff. Please complete the form via the link below by 9.00am on Monday 1 April 2024 confirming that you have received information about this trip then would you kindly make your payment via School Money by Wednesday 1st May 2024. Unfortunately, if we do not receive sufficient contributions, we may have to consider cancelling the trip.
